Logo

A logo is a trademark, name, or symbol of an organization or company. Your logo can be a symbol or an illustration with your organization’s or company’s name. It can also be a combination of both, but your goal is that it should project the company’s intended image. Many people processes image in their mind more enthusiastically than words alone.

So, your logo design should be unique and easy to memorize. These key points should be kept in mind, while designing a logo.

  • Design Logo in Vector Format – You should design your logo in a vector format, since it provides the balance and contrast that is so important in logo design. It also gives visitor the illusion of 3D effect without losing contrast.
  • Keep it Simple – Your logo should be simple, since the simpler your logo is, the easier it will be for you to recolor and resize it for various design purposes. A complex design will not only make your logo difficult to maintain and reproduce, but you will also fail to engage audience.
  • Color Palette – The colors you choose for your logo may say more than you think, so choose a good color scheme. Your logo should look good in both black and white and in color. It should not have more than 2-3 colors as a rule and should have a version that can be printed in gray tones or in black and white tones.
  • Decide the Shape – Shapes are very effective in logo designs because of their flexibility and simplicity. Using shapes in your logo can convey certain messages: the triangle evokes action, conflict or tension; the square represents honesty, equality and stability; while a circle is infinite or protective. You can create a wide range of images and illustrations by using all the shapes available. You can also combine them to form interesting patterns.
  • It should be recognizable and unique – If people visit your website repeatedly, and if your logo is unique and simple, then people will associate your logo with your company. A unique logo identity is important because you don’t want to violate any trademarks or copyrights of other companies, and it can even have a negative backlash among your website visitors who would view your company as unimaginative.
  • Choose a font – There are many fonts out there and you would love to use as many as you can. But unfortunately, using too many fonts will result in contradiction. You can use two different fonts to create a contrast, which will catch the visitors’ eyes.
